Padmaja Ruparel, Co-founder of IAN Group (formerly Indian Angel Network), participated in a panel discussion on the startup ecosystem’s Budget expectations with Harshada Sawant, Senior Editor, CNBC_Awaaz; Vasudha Madhavan, Founder & CEO, Ostara Advisors; and Shreya Mishra, Co-founder, SolarSquare Energy.
During the discussion, several important points were brought up, including the removal of angel tax, tax parity between listed and unlisted securities on long-term capital gains, access to domestic capital, double taxation on ESOPs, and incentives for deepTech and spaceTech startups.
